The Recertification course for the BCMHV (Board Certified Manufactured Housing Valuation) designation offers appraisers an opportunity to refresh their knowledge of appraisal standards used in the manufactured housing industry.
The course outline is as follows:
I. Brief History of Manufactured Housing
II. Lending Practices
III. Manufactured Home Installation and Set-up
IV. Appraisal Procedures
V. CD ROM Usage
VI. Final Exam
Once this course has been completed, the appraiser will be recertified for a period of three years to perform Manufactured Housing appraisals.
