Appraisal Certified General Level Courses
How do I upgrade to become a Certified General Appraiser?
To upgrade to the Certified General Level you must complete the next six courses QE-10 General Appraiser Market Analysis and Highest & Best Use, QE-11 General Appraiser Sales Comparison Approach, QE-12 General Appraiser Site Valuation & Cost Approach, QE-13 General Appraiser Income Approach, QE-14 General Appraiser Report Writing and Case Studies, and QE-E2 Topic to be Determined and you will be ready to upgrade to the Certified General level! Just be sure you have enough experience and education before applying to the state for the exam. The following course is pending approval: QE-13.In addition to the300 hours of classroom instruction, you will need a Bachelor's Degree or at least 30 hours of the following college coursework: English Composition, Principles of Economics (Micro or Macro), Finance, Algebra/Geometry/or Higher Mathematics, Statistics, Introduction to Computers, Word Processing/Spreadsheets and Business or Real Estate Law, Two Electives in Accounting, Geography, Agricultural Economics, Business Management or Real Estate.
Certified General Appraisers can perform appraisals of all types of real property.
