John Herman, Managing Partner for Greenville/Spartanburg

John Herman was licensed as a real estate broker in 1976 and joined Roach Brothers Realty in Philadelphia as an agent. Because of John's prior teaching and training experience, he was asked to establish and direct an in-house new agent training program which was used at several Roach Brothers Realty offices.

John worked closely with relocation and implemented a customized program that addressed the many issues related to purchasing a home in a new area. Additional counseling in the home buying process included financing alternatives, negotiating strategies and buyers rights.

John has also worked with FRG Management, a residential development and management company; Buyers' Realty Select and The Home Advisor.

John started teaching pre-licensing and update courses for real estate agents in 1978. This work continues today, with John having taught in excess of 500 real estate courses in Texas, North Carolina and South Carolina. He is licensed as a real estate broker in both North and South Carolina, and is certified as a real estate instructor in both states.
